Raymond Devanna, Fairfield PT Manager, PT, DPT, OCS

Dr. Raymond Devanna earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Athletic Training at Abilene Christian University (ACU). During his three years at ACU, he worked as a Student Athletic Trainer with the football, basketball, baseball and track & field teams, and he was honored with the Outstanding Student Athletic Trainer Award in 2006.

Dr. Devanna returned to the classroom in 2009 and earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas (UTSW) in 2011 where he was honored by the physical therapy department with the Marge Barre Award for Academic and Clinical Excellence.

Dr. Devanna completed an American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists accredited residency in Orthopedics at UTSW and is Board Certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. He is a Certified WorkSTEPS provider, and he also holds an additional certification specializing in assessment and management of spine-related conditions through the McKenzie Institute. He has been published in a prestigious peer reviewed journal, and continues to be involved in research and governmental affairs for the growth of the physical therapy profession. He specializes in orthopedics including upper and lower extremity and spinal rehabilitation, and he enjoys working with a diverse outpatient orthopedic population including competitive and recreational athletes, pediatric and geriatric patients, and post-surgical patients.

As a Certified Clinical Instructor, Dr Devanna mentors PT students from several Texas Universities.
