Fitness Center
Over half of our patients are motivated to continue their program when skilled therapy is no longer necessary. They choose to utilize our Fitness Center to further accomplish their goals. Others utilize the Fitness Center to accomplish personal goals such as improving their strength, energy levels, cardiovascular performance, etc. They also find that regular exercise builds self-confidence, enhances self-image, creates a positive outlook, while decreasing stress and relieving tension.
Our full-service center offers the latest in cardio and exercise equipment and freeweights. We offer TVs with FM transmitters and headphones allowing users to choose from one of 5 channels. We also offer free daily locker and full shower facilities (including blow dryers, shampoo, cream rinse, towels, etc.) Our center also offers child care services (call for hours). Our atmosphere is both friendly and professional. We also offer Fitness Evaluations by a Physical Therapist, computerized workout programs that can be updated to match your training needs, blood pressure monitoring, wellness information, etc.

Personal Trainer
Want to get the most out of your Lott Fitness Center experience? Try our new personal training program! Michelle Wooden, CI-CPT is certified as a Personal Trainer through the Cooper Institute in Dallas. Here's what you need to know in order to get started:
• Please Sign up at the Front Desk
• Must have had a Fitness Eval w/ David Lott, MPT so the Personal Trainer can collaborate with David
• Must be a current Lott Fitness Center Member
• All Sessions to be paid prior to scheduling
• Individual Sessions are 35 minuntes. Couple Sessions are 45 minutes. Couples must schedule together
• No show - sessions forfeited. May not be rescheduled for any reason.
• Cancellation - if >24 hrs, may reschedule x1. If <24 hrs, sessions forfeited. May not be rescheduled for any reason.

Medical Examination
All members are strongly encouraged to have a complete physical examination prior to beginning an exercise program. We encourage those Individuals who are at high risk for cardiovascular disease or who have a history of medical or health related problems to be sure they get approval from their medical provider prior to starting any type of exercise.

Guests
Upon arrival, members must register their guest(s) at the Front Desk. The Front Desk is open 7:45 am to 8:00 pm Monday through Friday and 8:00 am to noon on Saturday. All guests must fill out a guest information form. Guests may visit a maximum of three times as a member guest. A $5.00 fee is charged for the first 3 visits of a member guest. The guest fee after three visits with a member is $10. Members are responsible for the conduct of their guest(s). Guests not accompanied by a member pay $10 for a day membership and are able to use the facility when the Front Desk is open.

Fitness Evaluation
The Fitness Evaluation is a popular service for those that have little experience with working out or have questions regarding how to balance working out with health issues. The Evaluation is used to establish base line information to assist in developing a personalized fitness program. Performed by a licensed Physical Therapist, this Evaluation also includes body fat analysis, thorough review of vital signs, height, weight, and body mass index. The therapist will assess any joint or health issues such as prior shoulder or knee injuries, hypertension, diabetes, even pregnancy to ensure you are safe to perform cardiovascular and resistance training without risk of injury. You are encouraged to share personal goals for exercise and previous workout experience or exercise programs with the therapist to assist you in the development of a personalized fitness program. Upon completion of the evaluation, the therapist will provide a computer generated exercise program specific to your evaluation results and goals. You will be offered a separate appointment time with our Fitness Center staff who will review your exercise program with you to determine appropriate weight for training, to assist in equipment use, to ensure you perform the exercise with proper form, and gain a better understanding of general exercise principles.
The Evaluation and exercise program is designed for all levels of exercise enthusiasts, from the beginner to the experienced client frustrated with plateaus.
The cost of the Fitness Evaluation package is $150 and is free to those that sign up for a new 12 month membership.

Sarah Wright
Sarah takes charge of the Fitness Center and is available to assist members and potential members as needed. See Sarah for membership issues, questions about equipment use, child care and other questions regarding our facility. Sarah performs Fitness Evaluation Follow-ups and Equipment Orientations. She also schedules designated times for members such as our therapy graduates that need just a bit more assistance.
